Andrews passed away about thirty years ago, it hasn’t seemed to slow down the releases. It is considered to be her only standalone, but this will all change when Whitefern releases on July 26, 2016. My Sweet Audrina is one of the books I have read by V.C. Andrews, I’ve been a Gothic fiction fan for life. Eventually, other books caught my eyes, and I moved away from reading her titles, so I haven’t read all of them. She’s got a lot of them and though the characters seem to change the plots are very similar. I finished the book that night, and the following afternoon I was right back at the library to get the rest of them.įor a while, I completely devoured books by V.C.
I was horrified, intrigued, and mesmerized–all at one time. I can’t remember which book it was, but I know it was in the Dollanganger’ series. Andrews’ books after Seeds of Yesterday, so it was pretty thrilling to flip through the tv guide just to discover My Sweet Audrina was about to debut! Remember the original cover? It still gives me chills to look at it!īut before I go into my thoughts about this book and movie, I want to take you back to the time I first discovered V.C. However, I thought they were done with the V.C. I knew that they turned the first four books of the Dollanganger’ books into movies… I anticipated and watched all of them. I actually didn’t know they were making this movie. Andrews, and it has taken this long (and re-watching the movie about five times) for me to gather my thoughts enough to write a post about it! Not because it was bad. It has now been a little over a week since Lifetime aired My Sweet Audrina by V.C.
